HISTORY

This initiative started out as a Boys & Girls Clubs inspiration.
Due to circumstances beyond our control, this effort became its own entity.
The name Building Blocks for Tomorrow was certified and the organization incorporated in November 2004.
The IN sales tax exemption was issued in Dec. 2004.
An application for a 501(C)(3) status was submitted in Feb. 2005

OUR FOUNDER / EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Ms. Cindy Ball, a Boys & Girls Clubs professional for over 15 years, served the Indianapolis organization for nearly 12 years as an administrator. Ms. Ball has provided training at the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, at National and Administrative Conferences, and the Midwest Program Institute on youth and girls developmental issues, outcome measures, and other topics per request. In addition to being a national trainer, she was a 2000 Robert Woodruff Fellow, a 2000 graduate of the Management Program, 2003 graduate of the Advanced Leadership Program at Clemson University, and a United Way of Central Indiana Renewal Fellow.
